This is a critical point: what does it mean to cater to a demographic of shoppers who don’t have any money? It’s a foregone conclusion that this demographic is very important to corporations. what kind of advertisements/messages are developed for those who can’t hope to be able to buy the product? because really, the people who don’t have the money to buy the products but still are privy to the ads are the ones that believe the most in the system, or have the most faith in the contentedness they’re going to feel when they can buy.
